This project was especially meaningful for our team. Our client’s home in East Spartanburg, SC was seriously damaged when a tree fell through the roof during last year’s hurricane. After completing major renovations—including opening the floor plan and enlarging the kitchen—they reached out to Carolina Woodworks to bring the new space together with fully custom cabinetry designed to be timeless, clean, and intentional.

We designed and built a full set of custom inset kitchen cabinets with flush, clean lines that complement the new open layout. Each cabinet features furniture-style toe kicks, giving the kitchen a high-end, built-in furniture look instead of standard box cabinets.

One of the client’s top requests was to keep the microwave completely out of sight. Instead of placing it on the counter or using an over-the-range unit, we built a solid maple dovetailed rollout that keeps the microwave hidden when not in use while still being easy to access.
